Useful Information

Guests and accompanying persons planning to overnight outside of the campground must inform personnel at the service counter of their absence before leaving (max. 5 nights).
All absences must be reported at the service counter before leaving the campground.

For children and teens under 16, one additional tent of modest size (max. 3 x 2 m) may be erected.

During the spring and autumn seasons, the afternoon quiet time is between 12 noon and 2:00 pm. Motorised vehicle traffic during quiet time in the afternoon is not permitted within the campground and entrances and exits are locked.

Noisy air-conditioning units may not be plugged in.

Dogs are not allowed.
Cats are only permitted within the guest’s own plot and must be kept on a leash.

All cars must have an ‘autovignette’ affixed to the windscreen on the left-hand side in front of the driver’s seat. Cars may only be parked in the space designated to the guest.

Barbequing is only permitted on the grill and may not pollute the campground environment (smoke, etc.)

Cyclists should exercise caution and cycle responsibly.
Cycling without a lamp after dark is not permitted.

Check out can be completed until 8:00 pm on the evening prior to departure or until 11:00 am at the latest on the final day of your stay. Guests checking out after this time will automatically be charged an additional night’s stay. When checking out, please return the plot number plate and, if necessary, any adapters or fridge keys.

Digging ditches or erecting fences to cordon off camping plots is forbidden. The use of holes for water drainage and the erection of fixed structures of any kind are not allowed.

Car washing is only permitted in the car washing facility.
Cars may not be washed during quiet times. Under no circumstances should chemical WCs or sewage tanks be emptied in this area!

Cars must be parked on the rented plot (Prestige 1&2, Luxus 1&2, Luxus Plus, Igloo Plus). Numbered parking spaces within the campground are available for rental Bungalows.

We accept credit cards (Visa and Mastercard), debit cards (EC cards and Postfinance cards) and Twint. We also accept Euro banknotes.

Children may only use playground equipment from 9:00 am to 10:00 pm. Playing football (soccer) is not allowed. Use of the playground equipment is at your own risk!

Toplessness is only permitted on the beach. Naked children should not run around unsupervised.
Please wear appropriate clothing when visiting the restaurant and Minimarket.
This does not include bikinis and swim costumes.

In order to guarantee the privacy, it is not allowed to pass on third-party pitches to cross areas. Common passages must be used, and no pitches occupied by guests are invaded.

Camping Tamaro takes no responsibility for damages caused by the natural environment (e.g. wind and thunderstorms).

Dogs are not permitted anywhere within the campground area.

A maximum speed of 20 km/h must be maintained within the campground.
Motorised vehicle traffic is not permitted within the campground during the night or during quiet time in the afternoon.

Drones of any kind are not permitted within the camping site (no-fly zone).

It is strictly forbidden to charge electric cars of any kind at the pitch’s charging point.

Electricity must be used sparingly.
Every plot is equipped with 230 V and 13 A power outlets.

In summer and during particularly busy periods in spring and autumn, a member of staff supervises the campground at night. In case of an emergency, this member of staff may be reached via telephone at any time (please see the telephone number located at the service counter).
At night during the spring and autumn seasons, an emergency number is provided (note: this is not a medical service).

Only registered occupants are permitted in the campground.
Visitors or a change of occupancy must be reported to the service counter before entering the campground.

There are three rubbish collection points in the campground.
Rubbish disposal is not permitted anywhere else within the campground. How can we all contribute responsibly and ecologically? By respecting the following three priorities when it comes to waste: prevention, reduction, and recovery.

Those not in compliance with campground rules will be subject to expulsion. Failure to adhere to campground rules may result in a contractual penalty (min. CHF 100.– to max. CHF 300.–) and expulsion from the grounds.

Open fires are not permitted within the campground.

Fishing is not allowed in the campground or on the dock.

Playing football (soccer) is not allowed within the campground area.

Gates remain closed from 10:30 pm to 7:00 am.

During the spring and autumn seasons, they are closed during afternoon quiet times from 12 noon to 2:00 pm. Those arriving late back to the campground must pick up their vehicle by 9:00 am the following morning.
General Terms and Conditions Camping Tamaro’s campground rules and general terms and conditions otherwise apply.

The campsite regulations and the general contractual conditions of Camping Tamaro are also applicable.

You are welcome to camp at Camping Tamaro throughout the year. For groups and schools, an adult over the age of 25 years must be present. Upon the group’s arrival, the group leader will receive the rules of conduct.

You can do your laundry from 7:00 am to 10:30 pm. For a matter of aesthetics and decorum, it is not possible to place a thread between the trees and hang your laundry. We kindly ask you to use the dryer or your drying rack

Motorboats are not permitted anywhere within the campground area.

Music is only permitted at volumes that can be heard within the tent. This applies to radios and televisions as well, so as not to disturb the campground environment.

Quiet time at night in the campground and on the beach is from 10:30 pm to 7:00 am.

According to camping rules and regulations (section 3.3), only one caravan, camper or tent is allowed per plot. For children and teens under 16, one additional tent of modest size (max. 3 x 2 m) may be erected.

A maximum of five individuals (guest, accompanying persons, and overnight visitors including children under five years of age) are permitted per camping plot. Max. three individuals are permitted in the Igloo and Igloo Plus zones. In the bungalow area, the maximum number of individuals is dependent upon the rented bungalow.

Only the guest, accompanying individuals who registered upon arrival, and visitors may use the plot. Any change of occupancy must be reported at the service counter without delay.

Parked cars are not permitted to extend beyond the perimeter of the camping plot and must be parked such that lengthwise and at the rear a minimum distance of 50 cm to the perimeter is respected.

The parking spaces located in front of the gates are for temporary use only (provided that they have not been additionally rented). If arriving during quiet times, please park your car outside of the campground. Cars must be removed from the entry road by 9:00 am on the following day.

Play is only permitted in recreational zones and is especially discouraged between caravans, campers and tents.
Bicycles must remain on the paths. In spite of all precautions taken, the use of the playground and swimming jetty is at your own risk.

Noisy children’s vehicles, remote-controlled vehicles such as cars, ships or aircraft with petrol engines are not permitted on the site.

Reservations can be made 24/7 via our website www.campingtamaro.ch and are free of charge. An email address and a credit card are required. To confirm the reservation, an advanced payment of CHF 50.– is required (50% of the rental price for bungalows). Provided that the terms and conditions and the campground rules are complied with, this amount will be deducted from your final bill. Telephone and email reservations incur a booking fee of CHF 50.–.

The sanitary facilities are neither a playground nor a space for recreation.
Loud voices and screaming are strictly forbidden.
Please be aware that the ledges of the yellow washbasins are not benches. The cleanliness of the washroom and the WC facilities must be respected.
Please do not spray or even pour water on the ground unnecessarily: Please communicate at an appropriate volume and avoid yelling and loud laughter. Shoe washing is not permitted in the washrooms. Taps located elsewhere are available for this purpose. When exiting the washrooms and WC facilities, please ensure that the facilities are clean for use by the next guest.

Camping Tamaro features two modern chemical WCs and service stations for caravans, which are located at the sanitary facilities. Sewage may only be emptied into specific containers located at the sanitary facilities.
Under no circumstances should sewage be emptied anywhere else on the property or into the street drains.

According to campground rules and regulations (section 4), a tent, caravan, or camper may not remain uninhabited for more than five nights (yearly plots are the only exceptions).

During the warmer months, a swimming area is clearly demarcated. Leaving this area, which is clearly marked with yellow buoys, is not permitted (even with an air mattresses). Surfboards and other water-sports craft are not permitted. A lifeguard watches over the swimming area during the summer season. Lifeguard instructions must be followed! Entering the water is at your own risk! Swimming during the quiet time at night is not allowed.

Parents must accompany teenagers younger than 18.

All trailers must remain on the designated parking space at the entrance of the campground.

All public camping areas are under video surveillance around the clock for your safety.

Camping-plot guests must report any visitors during their stay to personnel at the service counter. Day visitors are permitted from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm. During the summer season, day visitors are permitted for a fee.

Camping Tamaro features Wi-Fi from Swisscom Public Wireless LAN. Wireless internet is available from all camping plots and is included in the price of stay.
